The devoted mother dog ensured the safety of her puppies by hiding them in a ditch.

When a man posted on Facebook that he had given up his dog and nine puppies, a concerned community came together to ensure the little family received the attention and care they desperately needed.

Nala is four years old and has spent the last three years tied up outside her home in North Carolina. Unfortunately, the first two litters of puppies did not survive after she gave birth to three ᴛι̇ɱes. However, all nine puppies from her third and final litter survived, and as soon as they were born, their owner decided he wanted to give all ten dogs away.

When the map posted that the dogs would be given away in July, neighbors who were aware of the situation stepped forward and took the dogs. The staff at Faithful Friends Aпimal Saпctυary (FFAS) heard about the family of dogs and knew they had to help, so they called Mr. Boes & Co. Rescue.

“They published photographs of the conditions he was living in and the state he was in,” Boes & Co founder Elli Frak told The Dodo. “We believe she moved her babies to a ditch to keep them cool during the hot summer.” He broke my heart”.

FFAS agreed to care for the wonderful family until the puppies were old enough to be transported to New York, where Mr. Bopes & Co. is based. During that trip, Mr. Bopes & Co.’s rescuers visited Naпa and her puppies to build their confidence and make the final journey and transfer smoother.

“Her owner had raised Naa twice before, and had seen all the babies die except one,” Frak explained. “She was a protective mother who had suffered so much neglect and loss that we hoped she knew she was safe and would continue to be safe with us and FFAS.”

After meeting all of the puppies, it was determined that they would all be named after Peter Pap characters. Peter Pa, Tikerbell, Tiger Lily, Wedy, Joh, Michael, Cυbby, Liza and Jape are the names of the puppies.

The puppies grew healthier and healthier until finally, in mid-September, Napa and his family were moved to New Jersey by Pilots N Paws, where they were picked up by Mr. Boes & Co. and transported to New York. It had been a long journey, but Napa and all her cubs were finally safe.

The day they arrived, rescuers transported each of Peter Paп’s puppies to their foster homes, and it was eventually possible to take Naпa to her foster home as well. Naпa felt completely protected for the first time as she struggled with her rescuers in the car, tired from the trip.

Over the course of our visits, she had come to trust us and had given her babies to loving homes that would care for them until they found permanent homes, according to Frak. “She knew she had done her part and had finally been able to save her babies and make sure they survived.”

Naпa and her puppies are thriving in their respective foster homes, and Naпa’s adopters are even thinking about adopting her. The puppies grow day by day and everyone who is committed to their rescue is delighted. The journey to save the little family was long, but now they are all happy and safe.
