SportsGrid podcaster feels wrath of Taylor Swift fans after ‘vile’ Niagara Falls comment

One NFL podcaster is learning what it’s like to be on the wrong side of the Swifties.

Cam Stewart, one of the hosts of SportsGrid’s “Drew and Stew Podcast” made a poor attempt at a joke that Taylor Swift fans didn’t take kindly to while talking about the legitimacy of the Chiefs’ 9-0 record on this week’s show.

He came to the defense of the Bills and their fans, predicting Buffalo would upend the two-time defending Super Bowl champions in their matchup Sunday at Highmark Stadium.

“I love Buffalo,” Stewart said. “I love the people there. I love the food there and I want something positive to happen for these people.

“Haven’t they been through enough? Kansas City, ‘Oh, we’re in Kansas City. We’re living the great life. We win every week.’”

His co-host, Drew Livingstone, then chose to note that Swift was excepted to be in attendance in Buffalo to support boyfriend and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

That sparked another rant from Stewart, who said: ‘Oh, who cares?!”

It’s what came next that fired up Swift’s fanbase.

“Throw her in the [Niagara] Falls,” Stewart said.

The likely attempt at a throwaway joke didn’t sit well with fans of the 14-time Grammy winner, as Stewart was flooded with angry responses on social media from Swift fans.

“@CamStewartLive you’re a vile sob,” user @TayvisHaze wrote

Added user @blackcelt13: “Uh oh! Clearly he doesn’t know about Tayvoodoo!”

Others tried to warn him about the avalanche of comments coming his way.

“That Karma is about to hit bad. I hope he’s ready for it,” @fallintome2006 wrote.

Added ChiefZach1: “Buddy. There are fans more powerful and more ruthless than Chiefs fans. They are called Swifties. They are about to unleash hell on your life. Big mistake…”

While Stewart hasn’t formally addressed his comments, he did respond to one user on X who questioned why he would make a joke about throwing anyone into Niagara Falls, where people have died.

“Didnt mean it bad joke,” Stewart responded.

DraftKings podcaster Pat Mayo said during his show that after the Swifties found Stewart’s comments, the SportsGrid host has been getting “a lot” of death threats.

Swift has become a regular at Chiefs games — when she is not performing on her Eras Tour — since she and Kelce’s relationship went public last fall.

She has been at Kanas City’s past two wins against the Saints and Buccaneers.

The 7-2 Bills will likely be the Chiefs’ toughest task yet this season
