Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs hosted the Houston Texans for the final game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Chiefs are coming off their biggest win of the season in Week 15, defeating the Cleveland Browns by 14 points and securing their fourth consecutive victory.
Now, with Kansas City playing on Christmas (Wednesday), they will be playing three games in just 11 days. Ahead of the Chiefs vs. Texans, Kelce showed up wearing an interesting outfit. The former Cincinnati Bearcats star went with a fluffy, off-white fur-style jacket and a white shirt underneath.
Kelce also added blue jeans and tan boots. But the main feature was probably his headwear, rocking a flat cap with a brown and black patterned design.
NFL fans thought Kelce’s latest ensemble, to say the least. They left their jokes about it on social media.
“he’s dressed like he’s entering the mojo dojo casa house,” one fan said.
“He think he 24 years old again,” added another.
“now what is his hat,” wrote a third.
“Does crazy mean atrocious?” asked a fourth.
“e looks like he’s about to solve a crime and then deliver me a newspaper,” commented a fifth.
“King of hats,” replied a sixth with a laughing emoji.
Kelce is not having his best statistical season by any means. Through 14 games, the three-time Super Bowl champion has brought in 84 catches for 709 yards and only two touchdowns, with his last score coming in Week 10 against the Denver Broncos.
Yet, Kansas City holds the best record in the NFL heading into the game against Houston, sitting at 13-1. It has also secured the AFC West crown for the ninth straight year.
