Baby, just say yes — but not in the fall.
Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce disagreed on the best and worst seasons to tie the knot in the latest episode of their “New Heights” podcast.
When a listener called in to complain about his fiancée wanting a fall wedding, which would interfere with football season, Travis claimed he does not “know people who’ve gotten married in the fall.”
The Kansas City Chiefs player, 35, explained, “All the weddings I’ve been to and all my friends always do it in the summer.
“You gotta be willing to find a weekend where the team isn’t playing anybody good maybe,” he joked.
“I’ve seen weddings in f–king February. I’ve seen weddings everywhere but the fall. So I’m not sure if the fall was a good wedding season.”
Travis went on to urge the fan to settle this disagreement with his partner before walking down the aisle.
“I think you guys should duke that out,” the “Catching Kelce” alum said. “If you really do have a problem with that, maybe it’s in her best interest to not have it in the fall so that she knows you’re invested in the anniversary every time it comes around.”
Jason, for his part, blasted the groom-to-be over the “frivolous fight” that meant “absolutely nothing.”
The former Philadelphia Eagles player, who married Kylie Kelce in April 2018, told the listener to record any football games he might be missing for his nuptials.
“I don’t know what you want me to say,” the ESPN analyst added. “There are certain things that are more important than football, and if the wedding isn’t more important than football, we got some bigger issues here.”
He noted, “There’s a lot more important things than football, and weddings happen to be one of them. And not arguing with your wife is high up there. … So I would just do the wedding whenever she wants to because that’s kinda your job now.”
Travis jokingly quipped, “Football is life.”
The tight end added, “Don’t make my friends have to not go. Everybody’s got season tickets, all right? Don’t make my friends have to choose whether or not they have to sell their tickets that week.”
Travis has been in a relationship with Taylor Swift since the summer of 2023.
Page Six reported in October of the following year that the countdown is on for Travis getting down on one knee.
“She feels safer with him than anyone she’s ever known; she knows he would do anything for her and physically she feels protected by him, and she loves that feeling,” a source told us in 2024.
Hoda Kotb, Jenna Bush Hager and more celebrities have shared their hopes for the couple to wed — and the pop star, 35, fueled rumors last month when she hid her ring finger in Eras Tour wrap party snaps.
